About the Artist

Inna-Marie Strazhnik is a medical and scientific illustrator based in Los Angeles, California and Visual Communications Specialist at the Division of Biology and Biological Engineering at the California Institute of Technology (Caltech). She holds an MA from The Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine in medical and biological illustration and a BFA from The School of the Art Institute of Chicago in scientific illustration and film production. Inna-Marie’s background includes experience in the following: medical and scientific illustration for scientific publication, patient and public education, litigation visuals, 2D animation,  graphic design, interactive programming, web design, and UI/UX development.
