The newly released 3rd edition of “Insects of the Los Angeles Basin” is a comprehensive guidebook to all the insects living in and around Los Angeles. Written by Charles L. Hogue, revised by his son James N. Hogue, and published by the Natural History Museum of Los Angeles County, this book is an indispensable resource for nature enthusiasts, gardeners, teachers, students, campers, and anyone curious to learn more about the diversity of local insects.
